Thermal Imaging Inspection

Conventional inspection methods can only cover what the eye can see.  But to ensure that you are covered, Tennessee Inspection Services, is proud to offer Thermal Imaging with every inspection.

Thermal imaging takes a home inspection to another level and can provide additional information not available during a general inspection

The U.S. Department of Energy recommends a Thermographic scan

be performed on every home prior to purchase.

Even new construction.

Why is that???

Because thermographic/infrared imaging provides important information relating to otherwise inaccessible areas of a residential building. Infrared detects extremely small but crucial differences in temperature from one area of a house to another. These temperature variations show up on the camera’s view screen as “cold” or “hot” spots, which reveal hidden problems that often cannot be detected in the course of a traditional visual inspection.

What I see is missing insulation.

What other inspectors see…small ceiling stain.
